Silvana Jimenez

Silvana has always found joy in movement and staying active. Her love for Pilates developed during college. She found Pilates to be the perfect combination of challenging yet peaceful. The more she took classes, the more Silvana felt inspired to spread this way of living– focusing on mind-body connection and the embodiment of each precise movement.

Silvana is a Certified Mat Pilates Teacher. She is currently in the process of obtaining her Comprehensive Pilates Certification through Balanced Body.

When she is not teaching, or taking a Pilates class, you can find her on a run in Golden Gate Park, at a coffee shop, watching a sunset or cuddling with her cat, Kona.

Silvana’s style of teaching focuses on inclusivity and promoting a sustainable way in which to move and exercise. Her goal is to teach classes that are both challenging and rewarding, but even more so, Silvana wants her clients to leave feeling proud and accomplished!

Pilates Method

Pilates Method focuses on the building blocks and foundational movements that are key for deepening your practice.

This mat-based class will contain elements of flexibility and coordination along with movements to strengthen your core and provide a full body workout.

All levels are welcome and encourage taking this before our Pilates Power.

Taught at Room Temperature

Pilates Power

Pilates Power takes all the principles from Method—still focusing on slow and controlled movements—while building upon them by providing more progressions, intricate uses of props and quicker transitions.

This class targets all muscle groups and provides a balance of strength, coordination and flexibility. Leave Power feeling challenged and aligned.

We suggest taking Pilates Method prior.

Taught at Room Temperature

Warm Mat Pilates

A Power class for those seeking a little more of a sweat.

This class still centers around the principles of Pilates, with precise and controlled movements that challenge the entire body. The warm temperature of the room encourages the muscles to loosen, allowing for deeper mobility, while adding an element of endurance to a low impact workout. The heat naturally increases heart rates, which, over time can improve blood flow and oxygen delivery.

Taught at 75-80F Temperature

(Warm, not hot)
