Welcome to Studio By Live Better
We are glad to have you here.
As you step into our studio you will find a community dedicated to mutual respect, personal empowerment, and the pursuit of inner peace.
We are all here to serve ourselves in the best possible way.
At our Studio, you can expect us to facilitate strong and impactful connections between your mind, body and soul.
Move . Breathe . Be
the Founders
Here we are, amidst building Studio by Live Better - in the middle of so much change and uncertainty. Expecting our second, taking a leap of faith, and creating a space that reflected what we believe wellness can be - the practice of coming back to yourself through movement, breath, connection, rest, reflection, and community.
We’re Saad and Sahar - both therapists, parents and outer sunset locals. We’re a Pakistani family who moved from Philadelphia to San Francisco in 2022. Sahar was born in San Francisco, but we both grew up in Islamabad. We immigrated to the East Coast in 2012 and have been chasing our dreams ever since.
For Sahar, yoga has always been more than movement. She is trained in Classical Yoga and holds specialty certifications in Yin and Restorative Yoga. She wanted to create a space where people could experience the deeper benefits of yoga - beyond how it is practiced in the modern wellness world.
For Saad, the vision was about belonging. He wanted to create a space where people could walk through the door and feel the warmth of community, welcomed and connected. We merged our visions to create Studio by Live Better, an extension of our counseling practice and a space dedicated to healing in its most holistic form and a reflection of how we understand wellness- as something deeply connected to the whole person: our minds, bodies, relationships, communities, and sense of self.
We invite you to join us in the Outer Sunset, two blocks away from the beach.
stay a while…
Come to Move. Come to Breathe. Come to Be
With Love,
Saad & Sahar
Teachers that inspire you
to discover what’s already within you.
Authentic . Present . Grounded . Inclusive

Amanda
Certified Yoga Teacher, 200 HR
Amanda discovered yoga 15+ years ago as part of her healing journey from several knee injuries. Over the years, yoga has been Amanda's place of retreat and comfort—helping her prevent injuries, calm her mind in life’s storms, and build a supportive community. As she deepened her practice, she knew she wanted to become a yoga teacher as she finds great joy in holding space for others, guiding them to explore their edge, offering options to meet whatever they need on the mat that day, and finding moments of play. For Amanda, teaching is a way to empower people to grow, heal, and connect.
Amanda brings a calming presence and a playful intention to her yoga classes. She will invite students to find a balance challenge, the use of a prop, grounding in breath, or variations/modifications for every pose. She also loves creating music playlists for each class which includes upbeat and groovy music as she finds music enhances the mind-body connection.
Amanda uses breath as the central cue for every transition which allows students to cultivate inner strength and allow their asana flow to be a moving meditation. Above all, Amanda encourages students to listen to their bodies and find joy in movement.

Annabelle
Certified Yoga Teacher, 500 HR
Annabelle’s path to yoga began through a search for healing. Diagnosed with three autoimmune diseases as a child, she developed an early curiosity about the connection between mind, body, and spirit. This exploration led her to Buddhism and, by age 18, to yoga—a practice that offered both physical healing and a pathway to deeper awareness.
After completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2020 and 300-hour training in 2023, Annabelle continued her studies in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), deepening her understanding of the body’s energetic systems. Her classes integrate Taoist and TCM principles, including elemental balance, meridian pathways, and living in harmony with natural cycles.
Rooted in trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and spiritual wisdom, Annabelle creates a grounded space where students can release, restore, and reconnect with themselves. Whether teaching yin, restorative, or gentle vinyasa, she weaves in the teachings of mindfulness leaders such as Thich Nhat Hanh and Pema Chödrön. Through movement, breath, and presence, her offerings invite students to soften, heal, and remember their inherent wholeness.

Aubree
Certified Yoga Teacher, 500 HR
Aubree is a Certified Yoga Teacher, 500 HR. She has additional trainings in teaching Yoga to Youth, Energetics & Taoist Philosophy , Somatic Attachment Therapy, and Yoga Through The Lens of Trauma and Incarceration
Aubree first came into yoga in high school. Her brother was always dragging her to the gym with him and it was the only movement medicine that felt accessible. There was a lightness and relief that came after every class leaving a lingering curiosity of why. After doing a couple work trades at local studios to get more immersed in the practice she started studying the science behind yoga and mindfulness specifically related to trauma and mental health.
Aubree spent 7 years working for a non-profit teaching trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness at 15+ schools and detention centers around the bay area to educate students, staff, and social workers about the effects of stress and emotions on our bodies, brains and behaviors. After leaving the non-profit she began building her own private practice where she offers a variety of healing practices.
Aubree’s teachings have included support groups for women in addiction recovery, adults with disabilities, and seniors as well as providing 1:1 support in private therapeutic somatic yoga sessions. She also teaches monthly mini yoga retreats, weekly outdoor practices and online series.
Aubree loves pulling from lineages like Hatha, Restorative and Yin Yoga as well as Qigong, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and other somatic practices. Each class blends seasonal practices to support the whole person. You are invited to slow down and come back home to yourself.

Cindy
Certified Yoga Teacher, 500 HR
After teaching high school English in the Bay Area for 17 years, Cindy experienced a massive burn-out and needed to take time off to heal. One of the first things she did was go to a yoga class – something she hadn’t done in over eight years, before the birth of her child. It proved a transformational decision, and motivated her to complete her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at San Francisco’s Yoga Garden (now Folk) in December 2022.
Her mission is to teach children, pre-teens, teens, and adults how to calm and settle their minds using yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. These foundational tools allowed her to completely rebuild her approach to navigating life, starting in January 2022.
Cindy completed 95 certified hours of Teaching Yoga to Children and Teens Training, all with her mentor Alexandra Rossi. She completed Folk Yoga School’s 300 hour Teacher Training in March 2024, with an emphasis on trauma-informed teaching.
In January 2025 she obtained her certification in Yoga Nidra, the yoga of deep rest. This is one of her favorite classes to teach. She also loves teaching Yin, Restorative, Hatha, and Gentle Flow.
Cindy helps children, young people, and adults refocus on the core demands of daily living using the same practices that rescued her – through trauma-conscious classes guided with patience and kindness.

Danae
Certified Yoga Teacher, 500 HR
Danae is thankful to the co-worker who asked her to join a "class" in the 90s which ignited a spark of curiosity to learn more. True bliss was realized as she experienced savasana (final resting pose) for the first time, who knows if it was all that sweating or not, but Danae floated outside of the studio that night.
Danae is forever a student of yoga practicing since 1999. She's been teaching for 20+ years and is also on faculty at San Francisco State University in the Kinesiology department since 2015. She has spent hundreds of hours studying Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga.
In addition to her yoga credentials, she earned her BFA from Arizona State University in Dance and continues to dance, choreography and perform.
Come prepared to sweat, smile and shine - she says.
Danae Robinett radiates a playful spirit while still honoring the sacredness of yoga. Her nurturing guidance allows students to safely explore their vast potential as abilities are honored and challenged. Humor is weaved throughout- her classes are warm, welcoming and precise. Hands-on assists with consent, every time. What we learn on the mat, translates into other areas of our lives resulting in transformative outcomes.
Danae leads global retreats, special events and works 1:1 with women. She also leads yoga teacher training classes for future yogis, and lives by the phrase an inner smile goes a long way.
Yoga meets you as you are, all you need to do is show up with an open heart and she'll take care of the rest.

Shreya
Certified Yoga Teacher, 200 HR
As a second-generation yogi (her mom is a teacher too), Shreya has grown up around yoga. She completed her 200 hour teacher training at Haum in San Francisco, but her relationship with yoga began much earlier, doing sun salutations in the kitchen with her mom after breakfast.
She formed a deeper personal relationship with yoga in her teens, and over the years, her practice has shifted and grown. Yoga has the unique ability to bring her back to herself in times when she feels disconnected or lost, and is her constant in an ever-changing world.
Raised in a household where yoga and yogic philosophy were a part of everyday life, Shreya saw firsthand how transformative the practice could be. As an Indian-American teacher, she cares deeply about honoring the roots of yoga while making the practice accessible, welcoming, and relevant to her students.
Outside of teaching, Shreya works as a psychology researcher. She’s especially interested in the intersection of psychology, mindfulness, and well-being, and loves weaving those insights into her classes.
Shreya’s teaching style is grounded and intentional, but always leaves space for play and exploration. Her classes blend intuitive movement, breathwork, and body awareness, often with themes inspired by yogic philosophy or the rhythm of the seasons. Shreya teaches as a student first, aiming to show up with curiosity and openness in every class.
