Shreya Singhvi
As a second-generation yogi (her mom is a teacher too), Shreya has grown up around yoga. She completed her 200 hour teacher training at Haum in San Francisco, but her relationship with yoga began much earlier, doing sun salutations in the kitchen with her mom after breakfast.
She formed a deeper personal relationship with yoga in her teens, and over the years, her practice has shifted and grown. Yoga has the unique ability to bring her back to herself in times when she feels disconnected or lost, and is her constant in an ever-changing world.
Raised in a household where yoga and yogic philosophy were a part of everyday life, Shreya saw firsthand how transformative the practice could be. As an Indian-American teacher, she cares deeply about honoring the roots of yoga while making the practice accessible, welcoming, and relevant to her students.
Outside of teaching, Shreya works as a psychology researcher. She’s especially interested in the intersection of psychology, mindfulness, and well-being, and loves weaving those insights into her classes.
Shreya’s teaching style is grounded and intentional, but always leaves space for play and exploration. Her classes blend intuitive movement, breathwork, and body awareness, often with themes inspired by yogic philosophy or the rhythm of the seasons. Shreya teaches as a student first, aiming to show up with curiosity and openness in every class.
