Robin Jaffe
Robin’s journey with movement began as a gymnast in childhood. While she loved the body awareness and joy of movement it gave her, she was grateful to leave behind the rigidity and perfectionism that often came with it. When she discovered yoga, she found a practice rooted in curiosity, self-compassion, and connection. What began as a physical practice has evolved into a lifelong exploration of movement, mindfulness, and well-being.
Her teaching style is warm, supportive, and accessible. She blends Hatha, Yin, and Restorative yoga with mat Pilates precision, functional movement, mobility training, balance work, breathwork, meditation, and gentle strength-building practices using hand weights. She is passionate about helping students feel strong, confident, and at ease in their bodies, no matter their age or experience level.
Sthira Sukham Asanam, stability and sweetness in posture and in being, on and off the mat.
In her Longevity Yoga classes, you can expect mindful movement, mobility, balance, strength, and relaxation woven together to support healthy aging and everyday vitality. Her goal is to create a welcoming space where students can move well, feel well, and continue doing the things they love for years to come. She maintains a slow pace, uses props and allows time for winding down with deep relaxation to help with sleep for the evening classes.
