Maggie Weiland
Maggie’s teaching style is rooted in ritual, rhythm, and reverence for the natural world. Her classes weave intuitive guidance with grounded technique, creating space for students to explore breath, movement, and presence with both depth and ease.
A lifelong lover of music, nature, and embodied movement, Maggie draws inspiration from the cycles of the seasons and her own Celtic ancestry. She is the founder of Sacred Seasons Yoga, a practice shaped by the Wheel of the Year and designed to support students through nature’s transitions with intention and care. Maggie’s teaching blends breath-led sequencing, curated music, and a sense of play and curiosity, encouraging students to meet themselves where they are and trust the wisdom of their own bodies.
She is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Certified Breathwork Facilitator, trained by Ally Maz, Ashley Brodeur, and George Ramsay. With a professional background in San Francisco’s public sector, where she advocates for vibrant cultural spaces, she is dedicated to creating accessible and inclusive practices for all bodies and backgrounds.
Maggie has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years, and it became a daily ritual during the pandemic—a steady source of grounding and joy during a difficult time. As someone who has lived in a bigger body and worked through injuries, she has deep respect for how different bodies move and feel. She uses non-violent, invitational language so every cue feels like an offering, not a command.
Maggie lives in the Outer Sunset and feels honored to teach in the neighborhood she’s called home since 2017. Whether she’s guiding a weekly vinyasa class or a seasonal workshop with ritual, journaling, yoga, and breathwork, her teaching is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and remember your own magic.
Vinyasa Yoga
A steady, soul-nourishing Vinyasa Flow designed to ground your energy and invite ease into body, mind, and spirit. Maggie’s all-levels class blends breath-led movement, intentional sequencing, and curated music to support both strength and softness in your practice.
Each class begins with a centering meditation and breathwork to anchor your awareness, followed by an intuitive flow that awakens the body and circulates energy. Expect a balance of fluid postures, moments of stillness, and opportunities to reconnect with your inner rhythm.
Accessible to all levels, this class is gently heated (around 78°F) to support mobility and relaxation — warm and cozy, but not “hot yoga.”
