Amanda Ejups

Amanda discovered yoga 15+ years ago as part of her healing journey from several knee injuries. Over the years, yoga has been Amanda's place of retreat and comfort—helping her prevent injuries, calm her mind in life’s storms, and build a supportive community. As she deepened her practice, she knew she wanted to become a yoga teacher as she finds great joy in holding space for others, guiding them to explore their edge, offering options to meet whatever they need on the mat that day, and finding moments of play. For Amanda, teaching is a way to empower people to grow, heal, and connect.

Amanda brings a calming presence and a playful intention to her yoga classes. She will invite students to find a balance challenge, the use of a prop, grounding in breath, or variations/modifications for every pose. She also loves creating music playlists for each class which includes upbeat and groovy music as she finds music enhances the mind-body connection.

Amanda uses breath as the central cue for every transition which allows students to cultivate inner strength and allow their asana flow to be a moving meditation. Above all, Amanda encourages students to listen to their bodies and find joy in movement.
