Alysha Harris

Alysha’s teaching has been shaped by a lifetime of movement and over 17 years of personal yoga practice, primarily rooted in Vinyasa and Katonah Yoga.

Her classes focus on geometric alignment principles, progressive sequencing, and pranayama. She likes to keep the tone lighthearted and lively, while creating a container for her students to turn inward, explore, and orient themselves in the present.

Her goal in practice is to introduce students to new techniques and tools to become well-rounded in whatever practices they enjoy.

Alysha completed her 300-hour yoga teacher training in 2024 from The Sacred Fig and 200-hour Vinyasa teacher training in 2023 from Yoga Alliance. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher by Yoga Alliance. Currently she is enrolled in a 100 HR Katonah Yoga teacher training.
