Mallory Abramovitz

Growing up as a dancer, movement and feeling connected to the body was always important to Mallory. When she entered college, she discovered yoga and almost immediately fell in love with how the movement felt inside her body, and how present in the practice she was able to be. Yoga helped her meditate and go inward. It helped remind her to have gratitude for her body and all that it does and is capable of.

After being a student of yoga for over a decade, she took her practice a step further by completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training. She found joy in helping students explore their potential to be fully present in their mind and their body.

Her favorite yoga classes to teach are ones that are driven by intention. Whether it's a personal intention a student brings to class with them that day, or the one she offers up at the start of class, her goal is to allow students to be present and meditate through their movement towards that intention.

While yoga can be an incredible exercise for the body, she sees it as an exercise for the mind and soul. Her classes are designed to be inclusive for all experience levels and she offers modifications and demonstrations to support all students.

Mallory’s goal is for every student to know that showing up to practice is an act of self love, and they leave the mat taking what they need from the practice.
