Cecile Thai

Cecile is a student and teacher of yoga. She views the practice of yoga as a pathway to curious self-inquiry, deep healing, and transformative growth. Her yoga practice has guided her home to herself and to the present moment. She went into yoga teacher training with the intention to deepen her own practice, and came out of it with the calling to share the gifts of this practice with others.

Through her classes, Cecile strives to offer a safe and nurturing space for students to deepen their connection to their whole self and become more grounded and at ease.

Cecile’s teaching approach weaves together mindful movement, traditional asana, breathwork, meditation, and philosophy. Her classes are sequenced to bring attention to alignment, create space for awareness, and inspire intuitive flow. With her calming presence and clear articulation, Cecile invites students to turn inward, listen to their body, and discover their own path to self-care.

To Cecile, each moment represents a new beginning — a chance to observe the mind, feel the sensations in the body, and connect with the heart. It’s been her honor to hold space for students to reconnect with their authentic self, return home to the here and now, and meet each moment with curiosity and compassion.

Cecile is RYT® 500 certified. In addition to her 200-hour and 300-hour training, she has completed specialized education in trauma-informed yoga, yin yoga, and prenatal yoga. She is also a certified Relax and Renew® restorative yoga teacher, as well as a certified It’s Yoga Kids® children and family yoga teacher. She has additionally trained with Sound Meditation Presents to offer sound healing journeys. Cecile is grateful to her many teachers, including Judith Hanson, Lasater, Michelle Nayeli Bouvier, Martin Scott, and Europa Grace.
